The Second Grade Squad: Master’s Degrees & Many Miles Traveled
In Second Grade, we’ve reached "Peak Educator" status. We all have our Master’s Degrees, we all live for a good book, and if there is a plane taking off, one of us is probably on it.
Official Team Stats
• Education Level: Overqualified and highly caffeinated.
• Travel Status: Always have a suitcase packed.
• Probably Daydreaming About: All things Disney, the beach, or the next mountain getaway.
The Team Roster
• Mrs. Bardin (The Dog Mom on the Run): Mrs. Bardin is officially in the "Retirement Countdown" phase. She’s trading in lesson plans for playtime with her two dogs. If you see her smiling extra wide, it’s because she’s dreaming of her first Monday morning without an alarm clock!
• Ms. Mason (The "I’m Back!" Specialist): Ms. Mason actually retired once, but apparently, she missed the sound of pencil sharpeners too much. She came back for more because she’s full of fun and clearly glutton for punishment.
• Mrs. Nishikawa (The Math Magician): Mrs. Nishikawa has a secret talent for making math and engagement look easy. She can turn a long division problem into a party, which is a level of charisma the rest of us are still trying to figure out.
• Miss Porter (The Baseball Scout): Miss Porter has been to more baseball games than most professional umpires. If life is a playing field, she’s definitely the MVP (Most Valuable Professional-at-watching-sports).
• Mrs. Minnoch (The Ultimate Dance Mom): When Mrs. Minnoch isn't traveling or creating maximum engagement in her classroom, she’s logged 1,000 miles traveling to her daughter’s dance competitions. She’s the only one on the team who can manage a classroom and a rhinestone emergency at the same time.
